This privacy policy sets out the way The London Gin Club use the personal information that we obtain from you from our WordPress hosted website. By your continued use of our website you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Table bookings & membership

We process the following types of personal information: name, address, email contact & phone details, table booking details.

This personal information is collected and used:

  1. To process your table booking.
  2. To contact you relating to your table booking.
  3. On your explicit request, to add you to our membership list.

The legal basis under which this personal information is processed is legitimate business interests for 1 & 2, and consent for 3.

You will not be added to our mailing list unless you actively choose and consent to do so by joining The London Gin Club membership list. If you do join, you can remove your e mail address from our mailing list at any time by contacting us at thelongonginclub@gmail.com or using the unsubscribe link included in our newsletters. We do not share our mailing list with anyone.

Our online shop is a separate web-site and has it’s own, separeate privacy policy.

Data retention periods

Your electronic booking details either 1) get retained until the day of your booking, or 2) if we are full and can’t give you a table, they get deleted once we have processed your booking request (within a week). If you subscribe to our membership list your email address will be held until you unsubscribe.

Third-party processors and international transfers

We use Google, for the short while we hold your table booking details electronically it is on google servers, in the US. Google rely on EU-US Privacy Shield Framework for these international transfers and implement the latest up to date security, you can find out more here https://policies.google.com/privacy#infosecurity

Cookies

Our website is hosted by WordPress. WordPress control what cookies are active and has it’s own cookie consent mechanism which is enabled on our site. You can find out more about wordpress cookies here > https://en.support.wordpress.com/cookies/

If you disable all cookies the book a table page will not work but you can always email or phone us with us your booking!
