Happy 2016 folks. After a restful Christmas break we’re ready and raring to go, with 2016 set to be an exciting year for gin lovers.
There have been some big changes to the gin scene in the UK since we launched the London Gin Club 4 years ago. 2015 proved to be an excellent year with the UK becoming the world’s largest exporter of gin and UK small batch distillers going from strength to strength. If our first batch of new gins this year is anything to go by 2016 is going to be a really interesting, creative year as craft distillers continue to push the boundaries with the combination of botanicals being used.
Why are we excited? Well, latest up on our shelves we have Trevethan with vanilla and gorse flowers, Exiles with shamrock, Hepple with green juniper and douglas fir, Colombo with Sri Lankan cinnamon and curry leaves and Stafford’s with rosemary and macadamia!
So we’re all stirred up about 2016 – not only because of the new gins we’ll be bringing to you, but also because we will have a new tasting event for you which we’re just dotting the I’s on and, as our ‘ginfluenced’ pies are so popular we’ve decided to add a few more things to our food menu to keep your taste buds tingling. Our tasting menus will also be under the spot light to ensure your gin tasting experience is the best possible enabling you to stay on the leading edge of the 21st century gin craze.
